Ukraine Gate – Kyiv – June 23, 2022- The US Embassy in Ukraine said on its Twitter account that Russian disinformation cannot hide the Kremlin’s responsibility for the global food crisis caused by Putin’s war.
And the tweet read: “The war chosen by President Putin is what aggravates the global food crisis, not sanctions, as he claims. Disinformation cannot hide the responsibility of the Kremlin, and Russia must stop arming food.”
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said earlier that Moscow had manipulated the publications of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) to refute Russia’s role in creating a global food crisis.
