“Russian invaders continue to take active measures to accelerate the so-called integration of the temporarily occupied territories into the economic and social space of the Russian Federation,” Malyar said.
She stated that Russia continues to grossly and cynically violate international law. In particular, trying to integrate the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine into the Russian space, the Russian Federation is deploying points for issuing Russian passports, putting pressure on people who were forced to find themselves in these territories.
People working in the seized enterprises are under the greatest pressure, as the aggressor country is forcing Ukrainians who remained in the temporarily occupied territories to cooperate with them. In particular, this applies to representatives of the educational sphere. As of today, most Ukrainians are resisting. But the occupiers are suppressing active protests.
In addition, Russia is trying to organize passenger traffic to the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea from the occupied territories of the Kherson region.
The illegal export of Ukrainian cultural values also continues. Exports of captured enterprises and grain are also being exported.
Malyar stressed that the occupying power will conduct information campaigns not only in the temporarily occupied territories, but also in many countries around the world in order to prevent Ukraine from receiving international military assistance.
“Today, Russia is trying to undermine Ukraine’s reputation as a reliable partner, trying to find any arguments to convince the Western world that it is impossible or unnecessary to provide military assistance to Ukraine,” Malyar added.
Addition
Residents of the temporarily occupied Kherson refused to participate in the distribution of Russian passports.
