“The EBU fully understands the disappointment caused by the announcement that the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 cannot be held in Ukraine, this year’s winning country,” the statement said.
“The EBU regrets the decision to move the event to another country and will continue to discuss finding a suitable venue for next year’s Eurovision. We look forward to continuing to work with our Ukrainian member UA: PBC on all these issues,” the statement said.
