Today it is recognized: Ukraine is not a bridge, not a pillow between the West and Russia, not a buffer between Europe and Asia, not a sphere of influence, not a “gray” zone, not a transit territory. Zelensky noted that despite the war, Ukraine continues to implement EU legislation, norms and rules in all spheres of life. The government is developing an appropriate roadmap. The next steps are to implement the recommendations of the European Commission.

The European Council has granted Ukraine and Moldova candidate status for EU membership. European Council President Charles Michel reaffirmed his decision on Ukraine, calling it a “historic moment”.
