Offline training will start in some regions of Ukraine on September 1. To this end, security measures are being taken in educational institutions. This was announced during a briefing by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko,

In order to start training offline, institutions in regions with safe conditions must take measures to strengthen security, namely:
– mandatory inspection by specialists of the SES of educational institutions and adjacent territories for the presence of explosive devices;
– readiness of alarm systems. Particular attention is paid to the availability of warning children with visual and hearing impairments;
– by the beginning of the school year, evacuation routes must be identified and marked in each educational institution;
– each educational institution must have a shelter for all participants in the educational process;
– stocks of water and medicines are created. Trainings on actions in case of announcement of an air alarm signal are carried out.

Those pupils and students who studied in institutions that are currently in the temporarily occupied territory or damaged or destroyed by Russian invaders will be able to continue their studies in the same institutions remotely or in other educational institutions in Ukraine-controlled territory, “Tymoshenko added.
Addition
Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy Shkarlet said that local authorities will decide how to teach children in schools – offline or online. The Minister noted that only if there are security guarantees for participants in the educational process will be offline training format.
