The order to release Kovaliv was issued in Decree №580 / 2020. Subsequently, Decree №581 / 2020 on the appointment of Sviridenko as Deputy Head of the President’s Office was published on the President’s website: “Appoint Yulia Anatoliyivna Sviridenko as Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.”
So far, the team of the head of state has not commented on personnel changes. Yulia Svyridenko also did not announce details about her appointment.
Yulia Kovalev had resigned as deputy head of the President’s Office. Authorities called her the strongest member of the president’s team and said they hoped for further cooperation with her. Volodymyr Zelensky also decided to dismiss Serhiy Trofimov from the post of First Deputy Head of the President’s Office.
