According to the results of two attempts, Gunko and Lishchynska at a speed of over 100 km / h showed the result of 1 minute and 47 seconds.
“Back in August this year, Lydia Gunko underwent knee surgery, and today, even in the absence of a starting overpass in Ukraine, she and Irina have shown serious potential for the future in the initial acceleration,” – said in a statement.
The first two places were taken by Russian crews Elena Osipenko / Alexander Tarasov and Anastasia Dudkina / Eugene Moskvin. The Ukrainians lost to the champions by 3.01 seconds.
These awards became the first in the history of the Ukrainian women’s bobsleigh.
