keef/Urr/22/12/2020 The Association of Sports Journalists of Ukraine has identified the top 10 Ukrainian athletes in 2020.
Marina Bekh took the title of the best athlete of the year from Dmytro Pidruchny, who topped the top ranking in 2019.
In the same year, Podruchny became the only representative of winter sports, occupying the fifth position.
The top 10 best athletes in Ukraine look like this:
- Marina Bekh-Romanchuk;
- Yaroslav Maguchykh;
- Alexey Novikov;
- Olga Harlan;
- Dmytro Pidruchny;
- Mikhail Romanchuk;
- Daria Bilodid;
- Semen Novikov;
- Alina Yagupova;
- Yulia Levchenko.
The top ten athletes of the year were traditionally elected by the ASJU Expert Council, which includes 12 authoritative Ukrainian sports journalists – members of the organization’s board: ASJU President Oleksandr Hlyvinsky, Vice Presidents Serhiy Saveliy and Mykhailo Reutsky, Secretary General Anastasia Volobueva, members of the Board. – Valery Novobranets, Valery Rekunov, Halyna Nechaeva, Ruslan Svirin, Hennadiy Nikolaychuk, Vyacheslav Kulchytsky, Yuriy Ilyuchek, Oleksiy Samoilenko. Each of the experts named his ten best athletes, where the first athlete received ten points in the test, and the tenth – one.
