Ukraine Gate – Kyiv – June 27, 2022- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on the G7 summit participants to publish on his official Telegram channel a letter to the G7 summit participants inviting them to tighten sanctions against Russia, including imposing a “price ceiling” on Russian oil.
Zelensky expressed his gratitude to the G7 countries for their continuous support and security and financial assistance to his country during its distress as a result of the Russian aggression.
The president stressed the need to strengthen sanctions, especially by imposing a “price ceiling” on the oil exported by the aggressor.
The G7 summit, chaired by Germany, will be held in the Bavarian Alps on June 26-28.
