Ukraine Gate – Kyiv – June 29, 2022- At the request of the Ukrainian authorities, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the French Ministry of Health said in a joint press release that France has sent medical equipment to Ukraine to reinforce emergency structures.
The medical equipment was sent on Tuesday via Slovakia, and will be delivered to the Ukrainian Ministry of Health.
The new French shipment also includes a mobile medical center consisting of medical equipment and drugs, including medical devices for anesthesia and resuscitation, designed to strengthen emergency care structures and provide care for 250 patients.
It is also noteworthy that the medical equipment was provided by the Crisis Support Center of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs along with the Operations Center for Emergency Response of the Ministry of Health, regional health agencies and several French hospitals.
“This operation, carried out under the auspices of the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism (MPCU), demonstrates France’s solidarity with the Ukrainian people,” the statement said.
As part of supporting Ukraine in the face of Russian military aggression, France is sending humanitarian, medical, technical and other aid to Ukraine.
