Ukraine Gate – Kyiv – June 30, 2022- Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca announced on Twitter that the Turkish Ministry of Health recorded the first case of monkeypox in the country, as a 37-year-old patient was diagnosed with immunodeficiency, and the appropriate measure was taken and isolated.
Also, observations were made in the circle of contacts, and no other cases were detected, as far as we know, this disease is not transmitted through the respiratory system, but through close physical contact.
Monkeypox, which is usually found only in Africa, is also common in Europe and North America.
But it does not spread easily between humans, and this occurs only through close contact, for example, through particles of contaminated ulcers on the patient’s skin, airborne droplets in the case of prolonged contact, and through objects on which the infected particles remain.
