It is noted that the issue of registration of passport documents abroad is relevant for many Ukrainians who are forced to stay outside the country during the war.
“The government, the Interior Ministry and the State Migration Service are well aware of this problem. And to solve it, on June 10, 2022, a relevant government resolution was adopted, which significantly expands the possibilities of issuing passport documents outside Ukraine, “the SCSU said.
The normative act stipulates that Ukrainians will be able to issue an ID card and / or a foreign passport in a separate subdivision of the State Enterprise “Document” located outside Ukraine – in the citizen service center “Passport Service”.
The SCSU explained that this is important because the state enterprise “Document” belongs to the sphere of management of the State Migration Service and is the administrator of the Unified State Demographic Register.
In practical terms, the issue of implementing the government resolution is resolved in stages.
“Preparations are currently being completed for the preparation of the Document Center in Warsaw, which is planned to open in August 2022. At the same time, already now citizens of Ukraine who are abroad can apply for passport documents with the help of four software and hardware mobile complexes (specially equipped minibuses), located at the site of the future location at: Warszawa, al. Jerozolimskie 179, shopping center “Blue City”, – noted in the SCSU.
Mobile complexes are open from Monday to Saturday, from 10 to 19 hours, visitor service is by appointment in the electronic queue.
“Here, citizens of Ukraine can issue an ID-card, a passport of a citizen of Ukraine to travel abroad and even use a new service for both documents at the same time. The list of documents for registration of passport documents is standard – as well as in those “Passport services” which are in Ukraine “, – it is noted in the message.
In general, the future center of the State Enterprise “Document” plans to receive about 500 people a day. All work processes will be carried out using the latest information systems and technologies. It will be possible to receive administrative services of the SCSU both by prior appointment in the electronic queue and without it.
“Taking into account the peculiarities of international logistics during martial law, the deadlines for registration and issuance of passport documents will be up to 45 working days – in the normal mode and up to 20 working days – in the urgent. Payment for services at mobile complexes will be made on the spot – with the help of an online service, “the statement reads.
In particular, recipients of services need to have a smartphone and bank card details (cash payment is currently unavailable).
As reported, due to the actions of the Russian aggressor, the terms of production and issuance of ID-cards and passports of Ukrainian citizens for travel abroad are delayed.
