The application forms for the first Grand Slam tournament of the 2021 season, the Australian Open, have been published.
Three representatives of Ukraine got into the main grid of competitions in the singles without qualifications – Elina Svitolina, Dayana Yastremska and Marta Kostyuk. Ekaterina Kozlova is the fourth in the alternative list, however the native of Nikolaev didn’t declare in qualification.
Six representatives of our country will take part in the qualifying tournament, which will be held on January 9-13 in Dubai (women) and Doha (men): Katarina Zavatska, Lesya Tsurenko, Angelina Kalinina, Daria Snigur, Serhiy Stakhovsky and Ilya Marchenko.
The winners of the qualifying tournament after its completion will leave Melbourne for a 2-week quarantine, and the start of the competition is scheduled for January 8.
