With the support of our Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we launched a pilot project in Warsaw just three days ago, and today, four buses have left and applications from our compatriots for foreign identity cards or passports are accepted, and the first documents will be available in early August, taking into account Logistics in wartime, where the lead time for the production of urgent documents takes up to 20 days, and in the usual way – up to 40-45 days. ”
On June 18, 2022, Deputy Prime Minister-Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, Irina Vereshuk, announced upcoming changes to the regulatory framework for passport documents for IDPs and Deportees.
Information also appeared that due to the war, the process of manufacturing biometric documents – identity cards and passports began to take longer than before, and for this reason, delays began with the issuance of documents on June 23, 2022.
