Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has destroyed 799 medical infrastructure facilities and 2,102 educational facilities. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi at the Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine in Lugano .

“During the four months of the full-scale invasion in Ukraine, 2,102 educational facilities were destroyed. These are schools, universities, and kindergartens. When the Russian army uses artillery against a kindergarten or drops bombs on a school, it destroys not just walls and buildings, but deliberate destruction of the educational space,” the President said.

He wondered why the Russians shelled hospitals? How can they give an order for an airstrike on a hospital or a maternity hospital.
“This is Russia’s manifestation that it is allegedly able to destroy the very possibility of civilization for Ukraine, the basic humanity that exists in every country. Russia shows that Ukrainians will not be able to even treat, even give birth to children. 799 medical infrastructure facilities were destroyed from February 24 to the end June,” the Head of State said.
