As stated by the official representative of the State Department, Ned Price, the conditions for such negotiations have not yet arisen, as Russia continues its aggression against Ukraine.
Lavrov and Blinken will participate in the meeting of G20 foreign ministers, which will take place on July 7-8 in Indonesia. The authorities of this country also invited a representative of Russia, despite Washington’s attempt to ensure Moscow’s international isolation due to the war it is waging against Ukraine.
US Assistant Secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs Ramin Tolui told reporters that Blinken intends to raise the issue of the blockade of Ukraine during the summit.

“G20 countries should hold Russia responsible and insist that it should support UN efforts to open sea routes for grain delivery,” Tolui said.
The last time Blinken and Lavrov met in January in Geneva, the head of the State Department warned that very large-scale consequences await Russia if it decides to invade Ukraine.
