The pandemic year 2020 has become the most unusual for the cultural sphere. However, there were many bright moments in it, which will not be equal in other years.
The cultural sphere was forced to change in 2020. Since April, all the favorite art events for years had to be canceled for security reasons. Yes, the Cannes Film Festival, the Met Gala, Coachella, Glastonbury and many others got under the knife. In Ukraine it is Leopolis Jazz Fest, Atlas Weekend, UPark and others. But, locked at home and forced to stop, the representatives of art in all its manifestations have found another way to communicate with the public. This zoom -reading and meetings, flash mobs, online concerts and performances. And in this Ukraine kept pace with the world.

This year, both Catholics and Orthodox celebrated Easter under lock and key due to the coronavirus pandemic, the first wave of which occurred in the spring. The world-famous Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli supported Europeans who did not have the opportunity to attend a traditional morning service due to strict quarantine, arranging a concert by Bocelli: Music of Hope in the famous cathedral. Barcelona musicians performed in front of plants
At the end of June, musicians from the Liceo Opera House in Barcelona performed in front of 2,300 plants for the first time after a three-month quarantine. According to the musicians, their show was to confirm the value of art, music and nature.
