“We condemn Russia for once again abusing its seat on the UN Security Council to spread disinformation. We reject Russia’s continued attempts to distort history for its own political purposes and to promote extremely harmful false narratives and disinformation about neighboring countries, including labeling others “neo-fascists” and “neo-Nazis” without any grounds. The issues of the growth of global neo-Nazism and anti-Semitism deserve meaningful and constructive discussion,” the message reads.

The document of the UN member states states that this meeting is another cynical and transparent attempt by Russia to justify its unprovoked, full-scale and illegal invasion of Ukraine and another deliberate attempt by the Russian Federation to divert the attention of the international community from Russia’s own flagrant violations of the UN Charter and other international norms rights
“We reaffirm our unwavering support for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders, which extend to its territorial waters. We once again call on Russia to cease its hostile disinformation campaigns against Ukraine, cease its brutal and deliberate war of aggression, and immediately, fully and unconditionally withdraw their forces and means from the territory of Ukraine”, – concluded the representatives of the UN member states.
The statement was signed by representatives of 46 countries, including Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, Great Britain, the USA and others.
