According to the president of the Alexandria Historical Auction, Bill Panagopoulos, who will sell the lot, Hitler’s watch has never been offered for sale before. The decision to release it was made by a relative of a French soldier who stole the watch from the residence of the leader of the German Nazis in 1945.
