The House of Representatives passed the bill on Thursday. Thus, US defense spending next year is proposed to increase by $37 billion, compared to President Joe Biden’s $773 billion Pentagon budget proposal.
329 congressmen voted for the adoption of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which determines the size of the Pentagon’s budget, and 101 votes were cast against.

They also approved the provision on the cancellation of the authorization to wage war in Iraq, issued in 2002, and the increase in the monetary support of military personnel by 4.6%.
