“Another issue that directly affects the heating season is tariffs and subsidies. As promised, all tariffs this winter remain unchanged. Likewise, the Government will continue to pay subsidies to Ukrainians who need help with paying utility bills,” Shmyhal said.

The Verkhovna Rada increased State Budget expenditures by almost UAH 81 billion, the lion’s share of these funds will go to pensions, payments to displaced persons, and subsidies.
