Stefanovych said that the flight had permission to depart from Nis with technical landings in Amman, Riyadh, Ahmadabad. The plane was supposed to land in Daca.
“The owner of the cargo was the private company “Valir” from Serbia. This flight had all the necessary permits, everything in accordance with international rules,” Stefanovych noted.
He added that some media maliciously assumed that the plane was transporting weapons to Ukraine.
Stefanovych said that since 2016, no permits have been issued to import weapons from Serbia to Ukraine or Russia. He explained that Serbia exports weapons only in accordance with international permits.
The minister noted that there were lighting mortars and training mines in the plane. In addition, Stefanovych confirmed that all An-12 crew members were killed.
