“This week at the Bundeswehr training grounds in Putlos and Todendorf in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, training of the Ukrainian military on the Gepard anti-aircraft tank began,” the message reads.

At least 100 servicemen of the Ukrainian army are participating in the exercises, the publication informs.
The team must familiarize themselves with Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns, as well as undergo artillery training.
The Bundeswehr and the manufacturer of the Gepard self-propelled guns (Krauss-Maffei Wegmann) do not officially confirm the training reports, but do not deny them either.

“The Todendorf training range meets all the requirements for this. Gepard used to be based there, and it is convenient to train at shooting ranges there in the Baltic Sea area,” said the member of the East Holstein Bundestag and defense expert Ingo Gadehens.
