Borrell noted that on July 20 he took part in a meeting of the contact group regarding Ukraine’s support for Ramstein-4.
“The EU member states agreed to mobilize the fifth tranche of military aid in the amount of EUR 500 million for further support of the Armed Forces. The EU remains focused and steadfast in its support for Ukraine together with its partners,” he said.

The EU Council approved the fifth tranche of military aid to Ukraine in the amount of EUR 500 million, bringing the total amount of such aid to EUR 2.5 billion.
