“In Donbas, Ukrainian forces continue to repulse Russian attempts to storm the Vugleghirsk power plant. Russian artillery is still concentrated in the areas around the cities of Kramatorsk and Siversk,” British intelligence reported.

It is also emphasized that the head of Mykolayiv OVA Vitaly Kim stated that the Russian troops used seven rockets of anti-aircraft missile systems to hit infrastructure facilities, energy facilities and warehouses.
According to intelligence, Russia has increased its use of anti-aircraft missiles as an aid to ground attacks due to an acute shortage of specialized ground attack missiles. The occupiers have deployed S-300 and S-400 strategic air defense systems, designed to destroy aircraft and missiles at long distances, near Ukraine since the beginning of the invasion.
“These weapons have relatively small warheads designed to destroy aircraft. They can pose a significant threat to troops in open and light buildings, but are unlikely to penetrate through fortified structures,” the British Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
It noted that there is a high probability that these weapons will miss their intended targets and cause civilian casualties because the missiles are not optimized for this role and their crews are poorly trained for such missions.
Addition
Ukrainian defenders repelled an attack by Russian occupiers from an oil refinery in the Luhansk region.
