It should be noted that the relevant resolutions on nominations for the positions of the head of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Prosecutor General of Ukraine have not yet been registered on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.
On the same day, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, signed a decree on the dismissal of Iryna Venediktova from the post of Prosecutor General, which was previously approved by the Rada.
The head of the “Servant of the People” faction, David Arakhamia , said that a new Prosecutor General is expected to be appointed in the next 10 days.
