By his decree, Zelensky approved the provisions on holding a competition for the selection of candidates for the appointment by the president to the position of a member of the Supreme Council of Justice.
He also decided to form a competitive commission for the selection of candidates for the VRP and to approve its personnel. He instructed the competition committee to ensure the conduct of the competition for the selection of candidates.
The composition of the competition commission included:
- Serhiy Hrynchak – associate professor of the Department of Criminal Law No. 1 of Yaroslav the Wise National University of Law;
- Taras Didych – professor of the Department of Theory and History of Law and the State of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University;
- Boris Kofman – Professor of the Department of Law, Political Science and International Relations at the Alfred Nobel University;
- Serhii Ocheretnyi – retired judge of the Court of Appeal of the Kharkiv region;
- Zakhar Tropin is an associate professor of the Department of International Law of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University.
