“We strongly condemn today’s attack on Odesa, less than 24 hours after an agreement was reached to export grain from Ukrainian ports. Such tactics are outrageous and demonstrate Russia’s continued disregard for the millions of people around the world who suffer from food insecurity,” the statement said.
This happened less than 24 hours after Russia signed an agreement with the UN and Turkey on unblocking the export of Ukrainian grain by sea. Separately from Russia, Ukraine signed a similar agreement with the UN and Turkey. It was about unblocking three ports for export – “Odesa”, “Chornomorsk” and “Pivdenniy”.
The hostile missile attack on the port of Odesa provoked the reaction of both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and foreign diplomats, in particular, the United States.
As a result of a missile attack on Odesa port , people were injured.
