The Russian occupiers are pressing from all sides of the front to break through to the large cities of Donetsk region. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been keeping them in almost one place for several weeks. This was announced by the head of the Luhansk OVA, Serhiy Gaidai, in his Telegram channel .

“In order to accomplish the task, the enemy increasingly sends assault groups to attack and uses aviation. From the air alone, the Russians struck at least four times. Unfortunately, two missiles reached their targets. Our settlements were shelled four times with mortars,” Gaidai said.
According to him, six out of seven enemy attacks have been repelled so far. In four of them, the occupier used tanks to increase firepower.
“Almost everywhere, the Russians were forced to withdraw with losses. In particular, despair awaited them again in the section between Bilogorivka and Verkhnokamyanskyi. The occupiers are pressing from all sides of the front to break through to the large cities of Donetsk region. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been keeping them in almost one place for several weeks,” Gaidai wrote.

The head of the OVA reported that at the same time there is still no water, gas and electricity in Severodonetsk. “The deadlines for the restoration of critical infrastructure have already been postponed several times, but we are unable to postpone the beginning of the academic year,” – noted Gaidai.
According to him, the Russians announced the operation of four schools. However, children were collected only one – about 500 people. “It should be noted that before the Russian invasion, the city’s students received their education in 20 schools, many of which had no vacancies,” he said.
