Last year , it was reported that the ecological condition of the Dnipro is catastrophic – 161 pollutants were detected in the surface waters.
According to people who have contact with the water, the blooming of the river often causes allergies, and phosphates are called the main cause. Algae feed on them and grow thanks to them.
1 gram of phosphates can “create” 5-10 kg of blue-green algae. Detergents contain the largest amount of phosphates. Therefore, in addition to the catch of sanitation fish, the water blooms through the drains.
