The deputies are discussing the information that they want to send Iryna Venediktova as an ambassador to Switzerland after her resignation from the post of Prosecutor General, and that there is already a corresponding submission .

“My inside information about the appointment of Venediktova as ambassador to Switzerland has been confirmed. As I wrote, on July 19, Iryna was the main candidate for the post of Ukrainian ambassador to Switzerland. And today Dmytro Kuleba signed the application for the appointment of Venediktova as ambassador to Switzerland”, – in particular, the People’s Deputy wrote in Telegram from “EU” Oleksiy Goncharenko, after the corresponding confirmation of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in one of the interviews.
His colleague Yaroslav Zheleznyak from “Holos” wrote: “Now there is an ambassador in Switzerland – Iryna Venediktova.” However, he added that “officially, it is not yet known whether the President has signed, but there is already a submission from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.”
Previously, a new position for Venediktova was also discussed in the monomajority. Thus, the head of the “Servant of the People” faction, David Arakhamia , noted that the experience of Iryna Venediktova “will serve the state in a new place, which needs to be strengthened by professional managers and lawyers”, and that “news about personnel appointments on the diplomatic front” awaits.

The Verkhovna Rada voted to terminate the powers of Iryna Venediktova as the Prosecutor General of Ukraine on July 19. The President signed the corresponding decree at the same time .
