As reported in court, Paul Pelosi crashed his Porsche into a Jeep in May, but he pleaded not guilty to drunken driving in Northern California.
The prosecutor’s office considered the incident a minor offense due to the injuries sustained by the Jeep driver. If 82-year-old Paul Pelosi is found guilty, he faces at least five days in jail and up to five years of probation, the Associated Press reports.
After the accident, Pelosi was arrested and later released on $5,000 bail. He did not personally participate in the last court session.
