In Ukraine, the main session of the national multi-subject test for admission to a higher education institution has been completed. The Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Serhiy Shkarlet, summed up the results,

“With joint efforts, we managed to successfully complete the main session of the NMT in the conditions of a full-scale war. In three months, we developed a new computer-based test, organized test-taking points in Ukraine and 32 countries around the world. The right of each applicant to access to higher education is guaranteed, independent and transparent admission process,” wrote Skarlet.
Details
As the minister noted, 155,790 participants of the NMT main session who took the test from July 22 to August 2 have already received their results. Applicants who took the test on August 3-4 will receive their results shortly.
17,632 Ukrainians took the test abroad.
200 points were awarded to:
• 6473 participants – from 1 subject;
• 1664 participants – from 2 subjects;
• 458 participants – from 3 subjects.

In the 2021/22 academic year, 14,100 school graduates received gold medals, 44,000 received silver medals.
Graduates of the 9th and 11th grades received 566,200 certificates of basic and complete general secondary education. More than 2,000 documents about education – outside of Ukraine.
More than 322,000 applications were submitted to enroll children in the 1st grade.
