“This morning, as a result of a tragic accident of a Polish bus in Varaždin, Croatia, 11 people died, 34 were injured and hospitalized. These are pilgrims on their way to Medjugorje. I want to express my deepest condolences to the families of the victims,” Moravetskyi wrote on Twitter.
According to the Croatian mass media, 11 people died at the scene of the accident, one person died later in intensive care. A total of 32 people were hospitalized.
