As you know, negotiations on a potential deal were previously suspended due to the domestic policies of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro.
The US State Department has given final approval for the sale of 222 Javelins.
These missiles gained popularity due to the effective use by Ukrainian troops against Russian armored vehicles. They are produced jointly by Raytheon Technologies and Lockheed Martin.

According to a report on the implementation of state programs submitted to parliament by the Government of Georgia, in the first quarter of 2022, the country received a new Javelin anti-tank system from the United States.
