The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has made changes to the State Target Program for the Development of Airports until 2023, which defines the tasks and measures necessary to bring the airport infrastructure in line with international standards.
“Changes in the State Target Program for the Development of Airports until 2023, approved by the government, will not only ensure the stable development of Ukrainian aviation and increase passenger traffic at our airports, but also turn Ukraine into an important and developed air hub in Europe,” the press service quotes the minister as saying…
The press service recalled that in 2021, the Ministry of Infrastructure will continue to work on the modernization of regional airports. Their development will be allocated 2.4 billion hryvnias, provided in the state budget for the next year.
State Budget 2021 and the Aviation Industry

On December 15, 2020, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a bill on the state budget of Ukraine for 2021. The state budget of Ukraine for 2021 provides for the allocation of UAH 89 billion for the Big Construction program, UAH 4.5 billion for the development of Ukrzaliznytsia and UAH 2.4 billion for the development of airports.

According to Krikliya, the state budget for 2021 adopted by the Verkhovna Rada provides for financing the development of airports in Dnipro, Vinnitsa, Rivne and Kherson. For the development of the airport in Dnipro, UAH 1.4 billion is provided, in Vinnytsia – UAH 604 million, in Kherson – UAH 320 million and for the airport in Rivne – UAH 75.7 million.
