The head of the CNCD, Ashtalos Čaba, said that the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, will be summoned to the National Council for Combating Discrimination (CNCD). The move followed an official notification to PNL MP Aleksandr Murar regarding Orbán’s speech in Beile Tusnad, Romania, in July this year.
According to Murar, Orbán’s statement about the inadmissibility of “mixing of races” is a direct call for “a social experiment – eugenics.” The politician emphasized that this teaching “became the basis of exclusion, persecution and crimes of the 20th century.”
Quote
“Calls for “racial purity” are unacceptable in European and tolerant Romania. The words of the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, come from racial ideologies that led to millions of deaths in the 20th century,” the deputy emphasized.
Let’s add
The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen , condemned the racist statement of the Prime Minister of Hungary. She emphasized that racial discrimination is against EU values.
