Kyrylo Tymoshenko held talks with the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Finland to Ukraine Päävi Laine. They agreed on Finland’s participation in the reconstruction of Chernihiv Oblast.

“He separately presented a plan for the construction of housing for displaced persons. It was developed together with several well-known architectural bureaus, and the relevant documentation has already been prepared. It is planned to build five-story residential buildings within 5-6 months in 16 regions of Ukraine – 2 thousand apartments in each region. Their the cost with all the furniture and equipment will be about 700-800 dollars per square meter,” the report says.
As Tymoshenko noted, after the de-occupation of the territories and reconstruction of the housing stock, people will be able to return to their homes, and these apartments will be handed over to military personnel, doctors, and police officers.
Today, Chernihiv Oblast needs the rapid restoration of more than 4,479 residential buildings – 1,029 high-rise buildings and 3,231 private houses.
