A man suspected of carrying out a terrorist attack using a firearm in Jerusalem surrendered to security forces on Sunday morning, an Israeli police spokesman said in a statement.
It is noted that the suspect was brought in for questioning, and his weapon was seized.

On the night of Sunday, August 14, in the capital of Israel, Jerusalem, an unknown person opened fire on a bus with people. The incident happened in a parking lot near the Western Wall and King David’s Tomb.
At least eight people were injured – two seriously and five – lightly and moderately.
One of the wounded was a pregnant woman in her 30s who was wounded in the stomach and is in serious condition. She underwent surgery at Shaarei Zedek Medical Center. It is reported that the child is in a serious but stable condition.
