In Ukraine, mobilization needs are currently being met through the search for specific specialists. This was announced by Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov in an interview with Voice of America, adding that it could be UAV operators, special IT specialists, signalmen, artillerymen .

“The task of mobilization is determined by the General Staff, that is, they estimate the number of forces and means that they need at one time or another in the conduct of hostilities, they estimate the losses,” Reznikov said.
He noted that, accordingly, the General Staff clearly knows in which direction, in what type of forces or troops should be replaced, or the brigade should be taken to restore combat capability, and instead a reserve should be introduced.
“As far as I know, today mobilization needs are met through the search for specific specialists, that is, not as much as and as much as is needed, because quite a lot has already been mobilized to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and not only to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Now specific specialists. These can be UAV operators, special IT specialists, signalmen, artillerymen, etc. Especially against the background of the fact that we are already receiving modern military equipment of the NATO standard, then, accordingly, specialists are needed who are able to quickly master such systems,” Reznikov said.
