In Ukraine, it is planned to allow patrons to directly transfer money to increase pensions to a specific pensioner. This was stated on the air of the national telethon by the Minister of Social Policy Oksana Zholnovich .

“We offer such philanthropic activities in relation to our pensioners and offer people who are ready to support pensioners with small pensions to directly transfer funds to increase their pensions to a particular pensioner. This has not happened before,” the minister said.

Zholnovich hopes that such a bill “will be quickly adopted.” He is currently serving committees in the Verkhovna Rada.

The Ministry of Social Policy announced the end of the introduction of the basic pension income system. Thus, in October 2022, surcharges will be expanded to citizens aged 70+, and by the end of 2023 they plan to introduce additional payments to pensioners over the age of 65.
