About 41% of Ukrainian educational institutions are provided with shelters, the best situation is in the Lviv region. This was stated by Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrskyi during a meeting with Minister of Education Serhii Shkarlet, representatives of regional CMAs and public organizations .

It is noted that within a month and a half, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system, together with educators, take part in the survey of educational facilities. They also help local authorities and heads of these institutions in creating safe conditions for the organization of training.
During this period, more than 80% of educational institutions were checked, which is more than 21 thousand objects.

“The main role in this process is played by local authorities, because they are responsible for the preparation. In turn, we have assigned a rescuer to each educational institution in the regions – this is a specific employee who will also be responsible for whether the institution is ready for the new school year. Today, according to our data, about 41% of educational institutions of all levels have been provided with shelters,” the minister said.

Zhytomyr OVA reports that in the region 81% of general secondary education institutions are provided with shelters.
