President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that 55 diplomatic missions had already resumed work in Kyiv. He said this in his video message .

“These days there is a very active diplomacy in the interests of our state. In St. Sophia of Kyiv, a ceremony of awarding credentials by new ambassadors of foreign states who arrived to work in our capital took place. The full-fledged work of embassies, the presence of ambassadors in Kyiv is one of the important confirmations of the strength of our state, the Ukrainian ability to fight and win. Already 55 diplomatic missions have resumed work. And today (August 17, – ed.) credentials were presented by the new ambassadors of Belgium, Spain, Kyrgyzstan and Romania,” he said.
