The purchase of domestically produced vodka accounts for 66.1% of Ukrainians’ purchases. This is evidenced by data from the State Statistics Service.
Thus, the data of the State Statistics Service show that Ukrainians buy more domestically produced vodka. For 9 months of 2020, sales of Ukrainian vodka amounted to UAH 787 million, which is 66.1%. Imported vodka accounts for only 33.9% of sales.
Experts explain the high demand for Ukrainian vodka by its unique feature. Thus, Ukraine differs from all other world producers in that it uses prepared rather than distilled water for vodka production. This causes high taste qualities of the drink.
