In Turkey, a truck that had its brakes failed crashed into a crowd. As a result of the accident, 20 people died, 26 were injured. The justice minister said an investigation had been launched into the crash.

The accident occurred in the Turkish city of Mardin. Police, fire service and ambulance team “112” were sent to the scene of the accident.
Officers who assisted the victims and citizens gathered around were also injured by another truck driving from behind.
Justice Minister Bozdag announced that Derika’s chief prosecutor’s office has launched a judicial investigation into two separate truck accidents that occurred in the Derik area of Mardin.
