Experts of the Countering Disinformation Center at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine collected a selection of fakes, manipulations and disinformation releases produced by the enemy during August 22 .

1. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated: “militants of the Ukrainian armed forces in Slovyansk, Donetsk region, mined the road bridge over the Kazennyi Torets river, which they plan to blow up in order to accuse Russian units of indiscriminate attacks on transport infrastructure objects.” This is misinformation!
2. The Secretary of the Security Council of Russia M. Patrushev stated that “the shelling of nuclear facilities in Ukraine is a threat of a global scale, and all responsibility for these actions lies with the Western patrons of the Kyiv regime.” This is manipulation!
3. The mass media of the Russian Federation, citing Bloomberg, reported: “The West is beginning to tire of Ukraine… in Europe, they are frankly beginning to tire of the war, as their own economic problems come to the fore there, and this only indicates that the “war to the last Ukrainian” will continue until its price becomes too great.” This is misinformation!
