After Russia’s attack on Ukraine on February 24, it is impossible to hold a dialogue with any officials who are in any way connected with the aggressor country. The former Deputy Minister for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons Georgy Tuka told UNN journalists about this , commenting on KRAIL’s refusal to cancel the license of the Russian company 1xBet .

“What is there to comment on? Take each of the members of this body (KRAIL – ed.) and put their head against the wall, 10 times, then maybe something will happen to those headless people. And I don’t see another way. After all that we are going through now, what can we talk about with the dovb***s in government seats who do such things,” he told reporters.
Tuka believes that the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal can revoke the license from the Russian company only as a last resort. And KRAIL itself will not be disbanded.
“In the last resort, Shmyhal will simply withdraw the license from 1xBet and that will be the end of it, because the army of bureaucrats will find 10,000 explanations why they allowed the pro-Russian company to be issued a license: KRAIL will say that if they refused, it would be a violation of the law, that they say let the deputies change the legislation first. That’s all the showdowns of the current government,” Tuka said.

On March 30, the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries issued two licenses to “Your Betting Company” LLC (1xBet betting company) to work in Ukraine.
This company is nominally owned by Ukrainian citizens, while the 1xBet brand itself, according to InformNapalm journalists, is controlled by Russian citizens Roman Semiokhin, Sergey Karshkov and Dmytro Kazorin.
Despite this, KRAIL reports that they do not see a Russian trace in the company and allegedly turned to the Bureau of Economic Security, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Podil District Prosecutor’s Office and the State Financial Monitoring Service in order to find out whether the 1xBet betting company cooperates with Russia.
In turn, the BEB has already informed that they have not received any appeals from the Commission.
At the same time, Denys Shmyhal instructed the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Bureau of Economic Security, the National Police and the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries to deal with 1xBet, but the results of the work of these agencies are still unknown.
But while the pro-Russian office is being checked, 1xBet continues its work in Ukraine and can collect personal data of Ukrainians for their further recruitment by the FSB .
