First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova handed over to British Ambassador Melinda Simmons the hat of Ukrainian designer Ruslan Baginsky for Queen Elizabeth II .

Dzhaparova stressed that thanks to the strong resistance of the Ukrainian people to the Russian aggressor, courage and patriotism, Ukraine is setting trends in various spheres on different continents, and interest in Ukraine has increased interest in everything Ukrainian – history, traditions, language, culture.
She also noted “the assistance of ambassadors of Ukrainian fashion diplomacy in opening doors, which are sometimes not so easy for politicians to reach out.”
“Among them, of course, Ruslan Baginsky is a world-famous designer of hats and accessories, about the hat from which the world celebrities dream. On the occasion of Independence Day and as a sign of deep gratitude for the consistent support of Ukraine by great Britain in our fight against the aggressor, Ruslan created a unique exquisite hat for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of great Britain, which was recently handed over to Melinda Simmons,” Dzhaparova said.
“We are proud that Ukrainian hat from Baginsky is now part of Her Majesty’s collection of hats,” the diplomat added.
