On the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine, the famous and recognizable places of the largest cities of Turkey were highlighted with blue and yellow – colors of the National Flag of Ukraine. This was announced by Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey Vasyl Bodnar .

“The largest flash mob in support of Ukraine took place in Turkey on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine. In the largest cities of the country – Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir, Antalya and Adana illuminated recognizable places in the colors of the Ukrainian flag. We are grateful to Turkey for solidarity and ongoing political, humanitarian and other support for Ukraine in times of heroic struggle of our people for independence, freedom and future,” the message says.
Recall
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who is stepping down from office, in a video message congratulated Ukraine on the 31st anniversary of Independence. The office of the British prime minister was decorated to this day with dormouses.
