As a result of the full-scale invasion, the Russian military killed at least 376 children in Ukraine. This was announced in Telegram by the Prosecutor General’s Office .

“More than 1109 children have suffered in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. As of the morning of August 25, 2022, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 376 children have been killed and more than 733 have been injured of varying severity,” the statement said.

On August 24, the enemy carried out a rocket attack on the village of Chaplino, Sinelnikovsky district, Dnipropetrovsk region. Two children, aged 6 and 11, were killed and five others were injured.
On the same day, as a result of shelling of the civilian infrastructure of the city of Novyi Bug, Mykolaiv region, two children, aged 10 and 16, were wounded.
On the night of August 25, the occupiers shelled the village of Velykomykhaylivka, Sinelnikovsky district, Dnipropetrovsk region. Three children, aged 2, 7 and 15, were injured.
Children suffered the most in Donetsk region – 388, Kharkiv – 202, Kyiv – 116, Chernihiv – 68, Mykolaiv – 67, Luhansk – 61, Kherson – 55, Zaporizhia – 41.
As noted, these figures are not sufficient, as work is underway to identify the victims and dead in places of active hostilities, as well as in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
